What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and a password (stored encrypted; we never see it).
- Your profile: anything you choose to add, such as your role, photo, bio, gym, location and website.
- Profile claims: which FightRec profile you claim and any proof you send so we can check it's you.
How we use it
- To run your account and let you log in.
- To check claims, so nobody can take over someone else's profile.
- To show what you've chosen to make public. On a claimed fighter profile, the photo, display name, nickname, bio, gym and location you add are shown publicly. Your email is never shown.
- To email you about your account and claims.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. Your account data is stored with our hosting providers, Supabase (accounts and database) and Netlify (website), who process it on our behalf. Visit statistics are processed by Google Analytics (see below).
Your choices
You can change or remove your profile details at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and its data, email info@fightrec.com from the address you signed up with.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visitors and see which pages and features (such as the Fantasy Fight League game) people use, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies and collects things like the pages you view, roughly where you are (country or city), your device and browser, and how you reached us. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't send Google your name or email.
The first time you visit, a small notice lets you choose. Tap No thanks and we stop analytics on your device. If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland, analytics only starts after you tap OK. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the notice will appear again. Google's own policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Your sign-in, language choice and game points are saved in your own browser so the site works; they are not used for tracking.
Fight records
Fight records on FightRec are compiled from public information about professional bouts. If you are a fighter and something is wrong, claim your profile or email us and we'll correct it.
